I was considering a balsam hill but then couldn't justify the cost. In the end took a punt on this one from Homebase www.homebase.co.uk/6ft-norway-spruce-artificial-christmas-tree_p435677

It was £80 and looked a bit crap in store and when I first put it up. But I've now spent a while plumping out the branches and I honestly think it looks pretty realistic! And really good value when you compare to balsam hill.

Not decorating until tonight, but will share a photo when done.

That looks lovely! Very natural. There's a tree thread...share it there! I'm on that one. LOVE Christmas trees!

I'll make sure I add my tree to the thread when decorated.
But I'm honestly amazed by the tree. This is with lights

That looks really lovely. The wilkos 7 foot one reduced to £40 is also fantastic.

That looks lovely. We have the £40 wilko one and I'm impressed even before it's decorated!

And this is the tree decorated.
