On Christmas eve we always like to get started on the Christmas cheese and biscuits (and cake) and have that for tea. But we are now going to visit some elderly relatives for lunch and we may be either bringing some of the food or helping to cook so need to plan a meal. We all normally have a small cold lunch such as sandwiches so we don't want anything too heavy esp with a big Christmas roast the next day, but we are having the cold cheeses in the evening so maybe something warm would be nice. Can anyone suggest a suitable lunch?
