Ideas for FIL to buy my, dh and kids (loads of stipulations)

Hi, help please.

FIL has asked for amazon wishlists from me, dh and kids (aged 2, 5, 7, youngest two are boys).

We can’t ask for anything we really want because he has a history of ignoring or lists and buying other stuff. Which is fine. But I’d rather say what we actually want to people who ask with intention to buy what we want).

I usually put books on mine. He never buys me books.

He won’t give me a budget so I like to put a mix of prices. Sometimes he buys one thing from the list, sometimes the whole list. I always tell him the list is just a list of ideas and feel free to pick one thing from it.

He likes to buy things. And to watch the kids play with them (this year he is coming dec 28) for the day.

Any ideas please? I thought arts and crafts sets or board games would be good. We have so many toys.

All ideas appreciated. Main things - mix of prices, available on Amazon, can be played with in front of him.

Thank you!

Orchard toys for the two youngest ones? Something like hungry hungry hippos they would all be able to play. Lego for the older two? Big range of prices there.
