Putting lights up in cherry blossom trees.

We have 4 cherry blossom trees in a line in the front garden. I've bought 4 x sets of 200 lights from Tesco- they are battery operated and go on for 6 hours then off for 18. They last for 60 days.

Any tips on how to attach them to the trees? Is it as simple as twisting them round branches like on a Xmas tree or do you need clips/ cable ties/ whatever?

Cable ties are a good idea. They tend to slip or wave about too much otherwise.
