I have done most my christmas shopping but realised the toys and games are coming from GP and we will be there in the afternoon so my kids will get in their stockings and from us quite practical presents rather than toys - new duvet covers etc. I really want them to also have something to play with as I love seeing them excitedly play with their toys on christmas morning so I wondered if you could suggest anything. I have dc aged 2, 5 and 7 though tbh I think I will wrap some of the 5 yr old's old fireman sam and paw patrol toys for the 2yo who will be very excited by them, and the 7 year old is less into toys. So it is the 5year old boy I need help with. He loces things like the imaginext batman series and power rangers but will eb getting that in the afternoon from gp so I am looking for some kind of small toy around the £10 mark that he might like. He loves characters and imaginative play. Sorry this is garbled. Thanks

I have got this set from argos for my 5yo DS, Star Wars hero mashers down to £10, was actually only £9 when I bought it couple of weeks ago, but I’ve previously seen it on there for £50!!!
Comes in big box so looks like a substantial gift

Sorry just realised it might look too ‘big’ for what you’re wanting. They do marvel version too & you can buy the figures individually although I’m guessing you need a few so you can swap all their limbs around! Not much point just having one!!

My 5 year old is mad on imaginext. As well as that we have bought him small Lego batman sets, these are £6.99 up. Think killer moth/joker sets were £8.99 each.

Also bought (fake) Lego characters from eBay. 8 set of marvel characters was £7.99 I think. Delivered in 4 days and as good as brand name Lego without having to buy the kits (as 5 year old invents his own creations).

How about board games for them to play together?

And Lego

Pop up darth Vader if they like star wars. Wee one can play too.

Or a board game like junior monopoly.

Orchard game called scaredy cat is fun too.
