Yeah it is the highway rat. I am slightly disappointed as it's one of my least favourites. I would love a squash and a squeeze!

I’m a bit disappointed too. We hadn’t read it so bought it especially to fall in love with it but my son is fairly gentle and would never engage well with a baddie.

And, I realise I’m probably overthinking it but why doesn’t he just go back through the cave to his cushie thieving life rather than eating crumbs off the floor?

I’ve got a theory.....I reckon they don’t make a film of the ones with songs in (tabby mctat, the smartest giant etc) because all families will have their own tunes and they’ll have to make up a different tune for the film (although it’ll most likely be just like my tune since I’ve convinced myself it’s pretty amazing...!)
