Is it at all possible to get a decent looking 8ft artificial tree for under £100?

?

Moved house in the summer and our kitchen/diner has some vast space that a large tree could fill. I do want something that looks half decent though and not thread bare.

Any recommendations?

I haven't looked this year, but in previous years some of the Asda trees have been good value.

Good artificial trees seem to have got very expensive though.

Thanks- will have a look.
Some prices are ridiculous

We got ours from the range for £75 it's really full and 7ft

Have you looked on gumtree? I’ve just bought a 9 foot John Lewis tree for £70. It’s only a year old and is in perfect condition

I've got this one
It's 7ft, looks great and a fab price. There is an 8ft one for 80 pounds too.

I bought a decent 7ft for £40 in Wilkinson’s today. Nice and bushy!

Homebase have a lovely 8ft one half price at £60

BadTasteFlump · 26/11/2017 20:39

Absolutely. I bought a 7ft one in a charity shop for £5. The same one was on Notcutt's website for £275 😱

It's definitely worth a browse around the charity shops - I've seen loads of nice trees again this year.

I get mine on boxing day the previous year. Got a £200 tree last year for £30 from M&S. It’s absolutely stunning.

I was just going to suggest the wilko tree, looked at it on Saturday and it is a really bushy tree and a bargain at £40

Had my eye on the £60 8ft Homebase tree but I only got a new one last year which is the 7ft Luxury Regency Fir from Tesco.

Its really bushy, has cones and berries on it and looks amazing when up. It has been reduced at the moment from £70 to £50.

The £40 7 foot one in Wilkos is lovely. My friend has it and it looks absolutely beautiful I may have to get it as a second tree!
