Torch (possible too niche and boring to get a response)

For the last couple of years I have bought my stepdad torches that have happened to be super successful; a head torch the first year and a really powerful but small torch last year (for him to use walking across a dark field).

I'm wondering if I could continue the theme...has anyone come across any good/interesting/useful/unusual types of torch?

My ds enjoyed a UV torch last year (gifted with a UV pen)

A maglight? One of those torch/lantern things that are massively powerful?

Key ring torch ?
Or broaden your choices by using lighting - then you can get nice garden lights, lantern, book light?

My DH loves torches Confused
The king of torches is the maglite and he has a variety of them
He was gutted when we had builders in and his first ever maglite disappeared with them

I bought a cool led lamp from homebase - rectangular, pulls open to light. Very small.

Nitecore Tip winter gift set. Teeny tiny keyring torch, incredibly bright and rather cute.

My favourite torch is a Thorfire C8. Absolutely unbelievable amount of light for its size and only £16 on amazon. It doesn't use regular batteries though so he'd need some 18650 li-ions and a charger. Alternatively, if he has enough torches how about some AA eneloops and a charger?

Ikea's wind up torch? It's actually a kiddie one but good. We have a few.

A charity gift of a solar torch?

I have nothing to add other than I love how many torch-based responses you've got. There is literally no Christmas present this topic can't source!
