I buy presents for a couple of friends & their kids but as they have more kids it get more expensive! I have 3 good friends with 4&5 kids. Do you buy them smaller gifts than friends with one? Ie budget per family?

I’ve always bought per child but have a tough equal budget for everyone. If I get a bargain eg fir £10 but it normally sells for £15 I just class it as a £15 present if you know what I mean. But wouldn’t do that with obvious sale items or boots 3 for 2 or anything. I have 2 dc and friends I buy for have 3 and 4.

I've bought family gifts such as:

Party board games so they can all play

home movie night pack (DVD, popcorn and a blanket)

Family "play date", kids voucher for indoor playground thing, Adults got Costa Coffee gift card as it is . Idea is kids run around like loons, adults get a coffee and relax a bit!

Tasty treats hamper

Smores kit

Puzzles.

Bil has 5dc, we go down the boardgame route. I will make them something (last year little felt stockings with their names embroidered on full of sweets). We have one child they spend about €10. We are delighted they buy anything as they have so many dc to buy for themselves! We also meet twice a month to play in a local park, too, so we are all quite close we ar the cool Aunt and Uncle Grin

Sorry, i digressed! DH has one other niece, €10 budget. I have two niblings, again €10 each. Same for DH's godson. We trawl special offers and deals and black friday etc and always do pretty well.
