Beauty advent calendars on eBay

I was lucky enough to get my mum the Espa one. £100. I would never usually spend this much however she's helped me so much this year. Apparently there were only 1000 produced.

I've seen atleast 20 on eBay. Do people actually buy these knowing they will not use it and sell it for double?

I know stores cannot stop this but how unfair is this?

There is thread somewhere on Mumsnet questioning whether it’s right to buy the must have xmas toys with the intention of selling it on at inflated prices.

I suspect the same applies to other items like a limited edition beauty advent calendar.
