Hi Folks,

Black Friday is the shopping event of the year, with huge sales from loads of brands giving savvy shoppers the chance to get their hands on some serious bargains in the run up to Christmas. This year, Black Friday falls on 23 November 2018. Avoid the crowds and get stuck into the sales from the comfort of your own home with our round-up of the best online Black Friday deals.

After the success of last year’s live Black Friday thread, the Mumsnet shopping team will be here from dawn ‘til dusk helping you find the very best deals.

Feel free to post any great deals you come across here. If you’re strapped for time, let us know if there is anything you’re looking for and we will try our best to source a deal for you.

Quick reminder of how this works: we've selected these deals independently by scouring the web for bargains that we think MNers will love. We can’t guarantee that every single product has been at its 'pre-Black Friday price' for more than 30 days, but we only pull out offers that seem to us like genuinely good deals on products we know MNers rate.

We do get a small referral % if you happen to buy through these links and, if you post a fantastic offer but don't include a link, MNHQ may edit your post so that other users can easily find it.

Also looking for cloud nines- ghds just aren’t the same as they used to be. There was a 20% code but went to order and it’s stopped working! Hoping there’s a Black Friday one coming.

Any Lego bargains would be greatly appreciated. Not sure whether standing barefoot onnlego bricks or the price you have to pay for them is the most eye watering!

Exercisejunkieforlife · 21/11/2017 08:03

WeeM - I really would advise against cloud 9s, everyone I know who's has had them have had experience of them breaking after a yr but before the 2 yr mark and they won't replace them.

My GHDs that I kept and have had for 9 yrs now are still going strong (touch wood).

WeeM · 21/11/2017 08:17

My reluctance with ghds now is that they are no longer made to the same standard as the originals, so your 9 year old ones are maybe still from the good batch! The guy who made the original ghds now makes the cloud nines...I was hoping that John Lewis might price match and then I’d get their warranty...
