My 4yo DD really wants a remote control helicopter and it’s one of the two things she will reliably say when anyone asks her what’s on her Christmas list. However I think she’s a little young to be in control of something that flies around in the air! Before totally giving up on the helicopter, has anyone seen a remote control helicopter that just moves around on the floor and doesn’t actually fly? I wonder if I could just stick propellers on a remote control car..

We got this last year and it’s still going strong. It doesn’t hurt and it’s linited to a certain height above ground

I came on to suggest the little tykes helicopter . It's very sturdy and low flying . Dgs loves it. He was 5 when we got it for him and still uses it 2 years later.

You can get remote control flying helicopters in a round cage, so they just bounce off the walls, people which are also good.
