Right, really struggling to buy for my nan this year. She’s 65, still quite young at heart, loves her garden and craft room.
I have a budget of £50 for her. Any ideas?

I'm 64: I've asked for a Bob Marley CD, some expensive scent and a new ski helmet.

Wiggypudding · 17/11/2017 17:59

Ski goggles usually go down well

Garden centre voucher.

How about a voucher for a garden tour with lunch before, for example Highgrove House in Gloucestershire, or if she has a partner/friend, the same but with afternoon tea.
I loathe gardening but my MIL loves these things. I understand often the head gardener gives a little talk on what you see and does a Q&A session.

My mums that age and in the past I’ve bought her and my dad a cinema voucher, restaurant vouchers and vouchers to their local independent off license.
I’ve also bought my Mum Cath kidston handbags or purses, scarves, gloves from powder, perfume.

Ill have a look at the garden tour thanks!
It’s her birthday tomorrow so I’ve already brought her purse etc.
I usually find it quite easy to buy for her but this year, I’m struggling Confused

A home made hamper of lovely things. All the posh versions of the things she likes

imsorryiasked · 17/11/2017 18:54

If she's near to kew Gardens or Wakehurst place you could get annual membership?
Or a magazine subscription?

Bird bath or hedgehog house.
