Gifts for Australia

Apologies if this has been done before. Just wondering what the best option is for sending Christmas gifts to Australia. Are there any particular stores that will ship to Oz? Or would I be better to avail of bargains here and then shell out for the postage myself? Would love to hear what others do. We're shopping for 3 children and 2 adults so the weight of that parcel is putting me off doing it myself!

We use toysrus Australia and get the relative to wrap the gifts!

Thanks I didn't know there's an Aussie ToysRUs!

Look at local stores. Guess it depends what you're after but I like Myer or David Jones, Makemeiconic, Book Depositary, Kidstuff...

Marks and Spencer have an online shop for Oz. When I used it last year in late Nov they had free delivery and they got they order within a few days. I sent kids new swimming costumes and t-shirts. I think Next may have similar. Postage is very expensive to Oz and last postage dates very early in Dec.

Next delivers free over $30 with returns to NSW, and Debenhams has their first store in Melbourne. Dunno what online shopping is like, but I hear there's no kids range.

John Lewis deliver to NZ so I bet they will deliver to Auz too.

I always just buy from Australian stores and get the presents delivered. I would reccomend T2, Haighs Chocolates, Tynte Flowers, Myers or David Jones. All offer delivery and all offer gift wrapping services.

Thanks everyone, I didn't think I could order from Australian stores as my billing address isn't there but I'll have a look at those suggestions. Really helpful, thanks

Buy from Australian Amazon. My dad does the reverse for DS

Australian Amazon doesn’t launch until December I think? Currently we can only buy music/books digitally.
