Hamper for our neighbours

Every year we make a hamper for our neighbours.
They do so much for us, take in parcels, look after the house when we are away, feed the fish, give us veg they grow and let our friends use their drive to park their cars when they visit.

We include treat foods, a nice wine, a board game and usually a few DVDs of hit films of the year as they don’t really go out.
This year they bought a big new TV and I was happily thinking that any DVDs we get them will look really good. BUT it tuned out they now have SKY films and Netflix so my DVD idea seems a bit redundant.

What could I put in the hamper that isn’t edible?

Books, either the latest best seller or non fiction to suit their interests.

A camembert baker, with a camembert as part of the edible stuff.

Fondue set.

Tickets to the theatre.

Camembert Baker is a good idea!

They don’t really go anywhere, I offered to drive them to the cinema once and I might as well have said would you like to visit the moon, so tickets are out.

A book listing the most popular films of the last few years so they know what to look for on Netflix? A popcorn maker with some corn?

Moonshine86 · 18/11/2017 19:05
