Christmas champagne offers- when?

I need to buy a number of bottles of big brand name champagne as PTA gifts (I know that the big brands aren't necessarily the best but I have strict instructions from the PTA )

Does anyone know when Christmas champagne offers are likely to start? Can you remember what the best prices are likely to be for something like Moet?

Can’t help you for this year but for NEXT year, Sainsburys always have good offers on branded champagne AND 25% off if you buy 6+ bottles in Sept/Oct. They will have either Tattinger, Bollinger, Moët, Veuve Cliquot on offer at around £30 a bottle and with another 25% off, it’s a great deal (relatively!) I stock up for Xmas, New Year and any other special occasion then. This Oct past, it was Moët Rose Champagne which was a good buy!

Apparently Tesco usually does 25% off when you buy 6 bottles at the end of November.
