Does anyone know if you can buy mincemeat without the dreaded mixed peel (or with a very minimal amount)? I normally make my own to avoid the dreaded stuff, but not well so that's off the agenda. I have seen this Meridian one & it appears to be free if the stuff, but also has no suet/alcohol & isn't cheap.
