Other than gin.....!

Looking for ideas for my gin loving sister in law, budget of £20ish

OP posts:
Nanasueathome · 11/11/2017 19:36

Some nice gin glasses

Bellriver · 11/11/2017 19:37

Gin cocktail book with cocktail set Smile

Joinourclub · 11/11/2017 19:41

It might look strange buying gin accessories but no gin!

CarlHickbread · 11/11/2017 19:44

If you want to buy a gin (I know you said other than gin) then I suggest Nofolk Gin. It’s rather special.

I would love it as a gift.

profpoopsnagle · 11/11/2017 19:44

this fevertree set. You could take it out of the packaging and something more fancy. Then add a book/glass etc.

TheFallenMadonna · 11/11/2017 19:44

My brother bought me stuff to go in gin. Cardamom, pink peppercorns, that sort of thing.

Annabelle4 · 11/11/2017 19:45

Gin baubles?

ignores the fact that you said other than gin

JaneEyre70 · 11/11/2017 19:46

I went to Wagamama the other evening and they jazz their gin up with pink peppercorns and stuff, it was really nice to try something different..... and def some nice glasses, you can never have too many of those.

Partyfops · 11/11/2017 19:47

Balloon glasses.

Lovely mixers? You can get cherry falvoured tonic, rose lemonade.

pinkblink · 11/11/2017 19:47

popaball.co.uk/

A set with gin shimmer 😍

Littlepond · 11/11/2017 19:48

Gin stones? They are whisky stones really but I've just googled and they do exist labelled Gin Stones. Little square stones you put in your freezer then use to keep your gin/whisky cold without diluting it.

jocktamsonsbairn · 11/11/2017 19:49

Yes, yes, yes to the popaball! Fab glitter and fruit balls! They were actually cheaper in Lakeland than amazon the other week! Know amazon prices can fluctuate.

Ilikesweetpeas · 11/11/2017 19:52

Some really nice tonics, I like the hibiscus one, basil is lovely too

TarquinGyrfalcon · 11/11/2017 19:54

Spanish Gin Glasses - love mine, they are huge meaning I can drink more gin

GarlicBreadItsTheFuture · 11/11/2017 19:56

Gin balloons (glasses)

Charbonnel et Walker gin truffles or Prestat also do them

pinkblink · 11/11/2017 19:56

Good to know jock, thank you

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 11/11/2017 19:58

You can never have enough gin! (the new Tanquery Rampur is on special at £20 in Asda atm)
Copa glasses are the only way to drink gin (the Spanish glasses)
Please not a book on gin. I want to drink unusual gins, not read about them.
I do like candles though so could go with a g & t candle.

HoneyWheeler · 11/11/2017 20:01

Maybe a tour around a local still to see how it’s made?

MaidenMotherCrone · 11/11/2017 20:02

If you can bake I'd love 6 gin and tonic cupcakes, beautifully decorated with a big swirl of gin frosting in lovely cases. I'd really like them in a pretty box.

Just the thought of sitting in my pyjamas on Christmas night and scoffing the lot makes me want them even more.

Recipe and decorating ideas are online.

OhHolyFuck · 11/11/2017 20:04

Gin infusion set at Wilkos?

If you're a gin lover, what could I buy you?
Floods123 · 11/11/2017 20:05

More gin.

Sandsnake · 11/11/2017 20:08

Something a bit different perhaps like this silentpooldistillers.com/product/albury-limited-release-strawberry-gin-cordial/

DragonNoodleCake · 11/11/2017 20:09

Depends on how much your budget is! Eden Mill do a fabulous '12 Gins of Christmas' set! DH bought me one last year (they develop new Gins every year)

Iwannasnack · 11/11/2017 20:12

That fevertree set above is good.
Yes to glasses
I know you said no gin but I would love to try a new gin (even if it’s just a miniature) rather than a book or g&t lip gloss
