Where to hang stockings if you don’t have a fireplace?

We don’t have a fireplace in our new house. Where should we hang the kids stockings. We have an open bannister/staircase thing so was thinking there but there are only 2 stockings so much it’ll look daft. Any ideas?

We hang them on bedroom door handles, so they can be opened in bed first thing.

We don't hang them until Christmas Eve then they are hung on the kids bedroom door handles for them to discover filled in the morning.

You need more stockings for the stairs banister as everyday decoration with the kids ones adding to those already there on Christmas Eve.

Ours just get placed on the end of each bed at about 3am!

Yep, back of the bedroom door handle when we go to bed so DS finds it first thing and can hop into bed with us to throw everything else off the bed rummaging for chocolate open his presents Grin
