Help!!! What do 13 year old girls want for Christmas???
I keep asking my dd but she just says ‘I don’t know’.
We did the phone thing last year. I’m sure we’ll go shopping and get clothes but other than that I’m stumped for ‘bigger’ gifts.

memyselfandi where did you get the Japanese sweet hamper from please? My 10 year old is obsessed with anything from Japan. I've got her a comic style book about Japan and her usual manga and anime, but sweets would be amazing to go with.

MumWifeMe · 11/11/2017 19:27

You’ve all inspired me - thank you! I’ll have a look into the wireless headphones and the printer. Might wait and see if they come up in the Black Friday deals. I’ve just ordered a magic 8 ball and a mood light cube for her room. I’ve been feeling so stressed this year so thank you for all your suggestions. It’s also a relief to hear that I’m not the only one struggling this year. Please keep any other ideas coming xx

My DD 18yrs has asked for surprises so far I've got
Sprocket with case
Make up brush electrical cleaner thing
Dressing gown
Pj's
H&M voucher
Starbucks voucher
Musicals book
Student cookbook
Socks / pants
Nail varnish, dry shampoo, body scrub
Lush snow fairy box
Ferrero Roche
Her initial travel mirror

Probably get bra/knicker set, Morphe makeup pallette.

Her stuff has been pretty much the same past few years but she loves all the small things

ihavetogoshoppingnow · 11/11/2017 19:59

I think the sprocket sounds good, an instax, echo/dot, straighteners, good makeup - mac, urban decay, Bobbi brown, Charlotte tilbury, makeup brushes Would she like a nice purse or handbag I got a ted baker purse around 14 and I used it for years. Michael kors watch, Tiffany necklace, portable charger for her phone, phone case, lush stuff, good headphones, some nice leather gloves - Asos did some last year that had pads on the fingers so you could use your phone with them on. I loved going for a clothes shopping trip with my mum as a teen.

Atticusss. I got the Japanese sweets and the Ramune soda from Amazon. If you go on Blippo website you should be able to get ideas.

blacksax · 11/11/2017 20:28

How about:
A chocolate fountain.
Tickets to a West End musical or Harry Potter Studio tour.
A giftcard/voucher for Claire's Accessories, Nando's, i-tunes, other favourite.
Ice skating trip with pals.
Hunger Games books.

Oo was hoping to find a post like this ... just watching atm as stuck for ideas too

Lovemusic33 · 14/11/2017 16:04

My 13 year old isn't very girly so can't do make up etc.., she's getting;

A new 2ds
Pokemon figures
Fox slippers
Waffle maker
2 hoodies

And maybe a Amazon echo dot if they are on offer for Black Friday.

She might be getting a bridge camera from her dad.

Prizepudding · 14/11/2017 16:36

Love music33, the echo dot is supposed to be reduced to £34.99 at Argos from tomorrow

I see morphe makeup mentioned a couple of times, is this the new popular brand and is it decent??

My dd 13 has asked for a few things but all have been mentioned above I think apart from body sprays (hollister or victoria secrets), candles, new phone case. Her main things will be clothes, hair curlers, make up and a big fluffy throw, wireless headphones.

I bought her the boots light up mirror last year, she uses it every day so that was a good idea and has been well used. She also really appreciated the electric toothbrush someone got her and half the lush shop.

www.beautybay.com/l/morphe/

I ordered one from here for DD's friends birthday, came quickly and well packaged.

LittleWhiteKitten · 14/11/2017 20:37

My dd is nearly 14 and some ideas I would have are:

Things for bedroom, decorative cushions, candles, lamps, lights, photo frames, etc.

Make up, make up brushes, body lotions, perfumes, etc.

Stationery, pretty note pads, revision cards, rubbers, pens, calendar, etc.

Jewellery, earrings, necklace, bracelet.

Hair accessories.

Books

Smellies, body shop lush, etc.

Pyjamas, onesies.

Drinks voucher for starbucks or similar.

Mine is getting a new wardrobe as main present, and one or two other items on these lists. Teenage girls are quite easy to buy for I think, as they are just younger versions of us, with more choice I think!
