Arrrggghhh does anyone know anything about Robot Wars or Battlebots???

Which are best for s 6yr old?? My son loves playing robot wars type games with things he builds out of lego and I'd like to get hi a set but looking online is a mini minefield?!!?!

There's a couple of Robot Wars books been released recently.
One has a section on how to build a Robot-I think that's "The Official Handbook". There's also a calendar recently released. All I know about it is that Aftershock does feature in one month.

I'm sure I've seen a building your own robot somewhere, possibly in a Smyths catalogue

ive bought the battle arena, it comes with 2 robots

My son is now 24, he has all the old robot wars toys.He used to enjoy building his own arenas with tiny cardboard boxes to trash lol!Not sure on battlebots are they a newer version?
