SO....on a whim, a Baileys and Christmas film fuelled nostalgic, 1am whim, I decided to order some retro decorations.

Only, instead of ordering a pack of 6, I accidentally ordered 6x6 and am now the proud owner of no less than 36 small, glittery kitsch Santas. (Santae?)

They were inexpensive so i'll keep them, but what to do with the little blighters!?! A garland of some sort?

Help!

They're awesome!! Could you sharpie names on them and use as gift tags?

ItsTimeForDuggee · 11/11/2017 02:45

I'd use them as a joke present and give them out to family memebers and friends Grin

Gift tags is a great idea! Like that.

I had envisioned hiding them all over the house in random places for guests to spot but chances are i'll still be bloody finding them next July!

Do you have children op? If so I wold put some in your handbag and try and sneak one on to any tree you see when out. Tesco, other shops local library etc. Kids would find it hilarious I bet.

Next year you could revisit them and see if they were used again.

Hide them in the Xmas pud!

Or just dot them in random places around the house now and again. Bit like Elf on the Shelf but without conditions, just laughs.

Put them in a shoe, in the biscuit tin, under a pillow etc.

You know I might just do this myself. I'll have tonnes of fun and the kids will think me bonkers!

Ooh, where from?

Justbookedasummmerholiday · 13/11/2017 14:45

I LOVE that idea, so off the wall! I don't have my own children but do have two Nephews, 2&4, who would absolutely love such mischief..

@Justbookedasummmerholiday
I am planning a little tree for the Nephews' room to decorate as they wish. I will certainly keep some back for them.

They were from Amazon! Very cheap, about £1 for 6.
