Wilko Christmas tree - half price sale - when?

Hi everyone,

This tree gets excellent reviews...

www.wilko.com/christmas-trees/wilko-7ft-canadian-fir-christmas-tree/invt/0401914

A lot of people say they got the tree for £40 in a half price sale.

Does anyone know when this is likely to take place?

We’re away for Christmas this year but usually put our real tree up at the beginning of December so I’d still like a tree this year but think fake is the best way forward.

Thanks!

Possibly in the summer. I can't see there being a sale so close to Christmas.

Thanks noword although I’m hoping it wasn’t... Confused I like the Balsalm Hill ones but can’t justify the price at the moment!

I got ours from here and while it's not Balsam Hill, it's a good tree!

Star2015 · 30/10/2017 20:31

Thanks noword I’ll check them out!

I got my 8ft tree from The Range- still looks fantastic 4 years later

Wellandtrulyoutnumbered · 30/10/2017 20:37

Looks very similar to the one I got in b&q in their sale (normally Tues before Xmas)

LBOCS2 · 30/10/2017 20:38

We have this one from Tesco. I was genuinely gobsmacked at what good quality it is, and with more than 2.5k reviews it has an overall score of 4.9 out of 5.

And even better, we got it half price about 4 weeks before Christmas, so it was a bargain £35. I would recommend it, and have, to everyone!

We got this wilko Xmas tree last year and it was half price too. We bought it close to Christmas so end of November and it was in the sale. I would hold out!

Thanks everyone I will check out all of your recommendations.... and will hold out hopefully for a sale nearer to Christmas!

Not much help for this Christmas but I got the same one for £5 at the end of January this year for my daughter.
Wilkos have brilliant sales if you are lucky enough to be there at the right time – worth knowing for 2018

Star2015 · 31/10/2017 06:46

Oh wow Doris £5 that’s amazing!

I got a cracking one from John Lewis in the summer. Only 4ft, but was £7.99 instead of £25. It's going to be the kids' tree!

Just updating this thread that I bought the tree I wanted this morning for half price... I’m really pleased and hoping I’ll be able to pick it up in time to put it up next weekend!

I have this tree, it's beautiful and looks like it should have been much more expensive.

NoWordForFluffy · 18/11/2017 10:02

Yay, good going, Star!

Thanks for posting. I have just ordered one too. That's cheaper than our usual real tree. It looks great.

JennyBlueWren · 18/11/2017 11:03

I don't know about Wilko but have normally found everything's half price when I start decorating in the week before Christmas.

Star2015 · 18/11/2017 18:41

Can’t wait to pick it up... looks fab and has some great comments Smile
