I normally do prawn cocktail and soup for starters but fancy a change this year.

So am going to get these from morrisons. Mini Brie and Cranberry parcels and Duck straws the duck straws aren't christmassy bit what the hell we all like them.

How many would you serve per portion so its either straws or tarts thinking maybe 3 each? What should I serve with them garnish wise?

I would think 2-3 of each with maybe a bit of salad, would be plenty. I've had the brie and cranberry ones before and they are quite rich so you don't need many of them.

I was thinking 3 aswell? Bit of green stuff maybe a blob of cranberry with the tarts.

Why not serve them on a three tier cake stand with some garnish on people’s plates and then people can help themselves as to how many they have.
