Gin or prosecco gifts

Changerofname987654321 · 22/10/2017 14:16

I am looking for a good gin or prosecco gift for my sister for around £20 to £30. I. Previous years I have bought different flavoured gins, bottle of her favourite champagne on special offer, and cocktails ingredients. I don’t want any twee gin bags bags or coasters kind of thing. Does anyone have any suggestions please? X

A candle in one of those flavours?

Naice gin glasses? LSA do a brandy glass which is great for gin.

Bottle of ginerosity which is delicious and charity gin. Or Boe violet which is unusual.

Lidl horrid gin is really nice and under £20. It wins awards and was in the Independent's best gins list.

HORTUS. Not horrid. Damn you autocorrect.

I think Vineyard candles are doing a Prosecco + candle gift at the moment. Somehow I don't think you'll have any problems finding one though, Prosecco themed gifts are flipping everywhere this year.

Sipsmith lemon drizzle gin is really nice (marks and Spencer's sell it)

Bloom gin is really nice too and costs about £25 for a big bottle

Dsis is having a pink prosecco toiletry set, think it was on findagift

I got my Mum a gin gift box for her birthday from Flavourly.com.
It came with mixers and a snack too.
Can’t remember the exact price but it was around £30.

Have a look at the popaball advent calendar. - it’s designed to be used between Christmas and New Year. Or get a selection of popaball balls or shimmer for prosecution - Lakeland are surprisingly the cheapest place I’ve found so far..

Ive bought these gin baubles for a workmate, I think they look quite fun :)

Sainsbury’s do a gift set with 4 mini gins and 4 fever tree tonics to pair with them for about £13
And Debenhams have a wide range of gin and prosecco related gifts so well worth a look there.

I was coming on to suggest the vineyard candles as mentioned above - they do a prosecco one and a g&t one. They’re lovely.

Notonthehighstreet have a grow your own gun botanicals kit which looks good too.

Next have got some lovely gin and prosecco gift sets in the gifts section, also nice gin & tonic and prosecco scented candles.

If you're a new customer I can refer you too, you'd get 20 off a 50 spend so you could sort someone else's gift out for free too. Pm me if you're interested.

Nice set of gin glasses.

Lidl's gin is going to be reduced as of Thursday so says the man at the good food show. They have rhubarb and ginger, oriental spiced as well as sloe gin

AnguaResurgam · 23/10/2017 10:25

Does she have a garden?

If so, how about a juniper sapling?

Changerofname987654321 · 23/10/2017 19:45

Thanks you all. She is not really into gardening. I like the idea of the lemon gin or the even the post Christmas advent calander but I would need to get her a bottle of fizz to go with that.

I wouldn’t worry about buying prose I to go with the after Christmas advent calendar as she’ll probably have it in anyway and if not, would appreciate the cost of it and would treat herself to some bottles during the year to treat herself with her treats!

Makemineacabsauv · 23/10/2017 20:46

And that should read prosecco!

Dolceandgabbana14 · 23/10/2017 21:45

If you're near Hampshire, the Bombay Sapphire Distillery self guided tour is ace, highly recommend. Approx £30 for two people (i think) and it includes a free cocktail each.
