Christmas movies - sort of

Who has movies they watch every Christmas that aren't really too Christmasy or classic but they get you in the mood?

DH also likes Its a Wonderful Life but he watches that alone because I hate it (waits for outcries...)

The Holiday for me too. Mad about that movie! I get so annoyed with the "baddie" every time I watch it.

Every year at the beginning of December I go away to a cottage with a friend, and we eat tons of rubbish, drink excessively, spend hours in the hot tub, and watch as many tv Christmas movies as possible. Channel 5 used to be great for this, but last year was pretty poor. Thankfully the cottage has the Christmas channel mentioned upthread, for provision of saccharine entertainment, with terrible acting and all the snow yet no hat wearing. I adore these movies, but only for this weekend!

As well as true Christmas there's Christmas 24, also a fee channel. Sky Christmas should be on soon but shows more mainstream Christmas films
