My dds loved a Melissa and Doug board with lots of different latches on at that age. Also happyland, particularly the bus, rocket and unfair.

Another big hit was a medical set we made up with real bandages, thermometer, syringes and stethoscope. It got a lot of use.

IIRC my DD asked for a drum for xmas when she was 2.

Can't remember what else, but something must have been in a big box... always make sure there's a bug box or two.

ErrolTheDragon · 17/10/2017 20:47

Big box. She'd have liked a bug box when she was a bit older!Grin

bookworm14 · 17/10/2017 20:53

Mine likes:

Teddies/dolls/toy animals
Accessories for above eg doll’s bed, buggy
Toy food, especially some fruit with Velcro in that you can ‘cut’
Duplo
Stickers
Books

She also has an obsession with doctors/dentists and giving people ‘check ups’, so I’m thinking of getting her a doctor’s kit for Christmas!

My 2 year olds hit list:

Her babies. Her trains. Her cars. Her planes. Her kitchen. Her brother. Paw patrol. Shimmer and shine. Megabloks and duplo. Teddies.

Fisher price Little people camper gets played with every day and taken everywhere! She got it last Christmas and it’s still a hit!

pattiselmabouvier · 24/10/2017 16:54

My nearly 2 year old son loves Toot Toot. It’s a very unisex toy range with animals, cars or people.

demirose87 · 24/10/2017 16:55

Toy animals, doll and pram, crayons and drawing stuff, books.

ALL toys are unisex, FFS. Angry

pattiselmabouvier · 24/10/2017 17:43

I quite agree titty. There’s no need for that. I’m just treading carefully this week after my son was called “gay” by a stranger because he was carrying a Queen Elsa doll.

BLUESEAPARADISE · 24/10/2017 18:52

Babies, dressing up, books, animals , water play, cars
