Limiting toys with multiple children?

This will be our 1st Christmas with 2 kids, just been in the loft to put the couple of bits I've bought for the DC away and gone through DSs old toys that will be the right age for DD at xmas, that coupled with presents from family there's far too much stuff for her to open on Christmas Day. What do I do? Get rid of some of DS old stuff? Seems a waste though? Spread them out over a few months rather than all in one go? DS only gets toys at birthday and Christmas so he might be Hmm at her getting some another time and him not. And don't even get me started on where it's all going to go, forgot how massive baby toys are

Wrap up some of the toys you have instead of buying new ones.

Ask family to buy clothes instead of toys.
