what big present are you getting your dc this year?

just that really, ive decided on the small presents but not sure what to get as a big present for my ds5 and ds8. my dd16 just wants a shopping trip but i am getting her one of those jewellery standing mirrors and a few smaller presents as well.
im just not sure for my sons, they both have a tablet, scooter and bike.

ipad for DS(7) but you have that covered.

Do they like ball games, what about a return net?

Laptop for dss (13) dreading birthday after that as he has every main present you can think of already and

they arent really into football but ive seen a duel basketball game in argos, their bedroom isnt huge though so id have to have a move around to try ànd fit it in

PS4 between them (ds1 12 ds2 8) then ds1 wants a Fitbit and ds2 wants Lego, always even though the bloody house is full of the stuff

Our sons are a similar age and they'll have a Nintendo Switch to share. Littlest is getting a basketball hoop and the eldest is getting Lego Boost. A trampoline also fell into my trolley during the Argos 3 for 2

DS1 (7) No idea. Leaning towards hexbugs and binoculars amongst other stuff.

DS2 (4) has asked for the Lego train so now I just need to watch for sales. His birthday is early Jan and he's getting a Maxi Micro scooter.

I've decided this year to do a handful of medium presents rather than a big present because i would just be buying for the sake of it. The main thing he's asked for is £55 and I have another 4 things around that then smaller things

Dd8 is having a Nintendo switch and dd6 is having an our generation camper van

DD6 Animal alley penguin. (Its huge) or a shopkins set which are not worth the money in my opinion but she loves them. We have most stuff already so kind of hard to get a main gift. I'm also looking at a slimline scooter.

Dd (8) really wants a hoverboard. I'm undecided!

This is what my 5 year old DS is getting.

Captain America is this massive thing in Home Bargains. It must be around 60cm.

He has a billion transformers but asked for "Big sideswipe" which I'm very thankful that Amazon have!

Bumblebee car is a transformers remote control car from Argos. Which I then saw for half the price in home bargains grrr!

I got him a Rocket Racoon buildabear with a Groot tshirt.

We are saving for our third child and a car so money is tighter this year. I will get a few books too.

DS (5)- not 100% sure but thinking kids kindle fire and he'll get a big playmobil set and a Lego set also.

This between them, and then they’ll get their own smaller things.

Watching with interest. I can't think of a single thing ds 6 would like (or need) and neither can he!
I've got 4 books so far...

Dsd12 & dss14 are both getting driving lessons for young drivers. They do them from 5 years old do that might be an option maybe?

Dd4 no idea on main present! Will probably do lots of smaller things

Mine are 11 and 8, they're having a Nintendo switch between them.

Nintendo ds xl and pokemon sun and another game.
Younger... Fruit stall and crates.. Beauty and beast jewellery box..

DD8 Large Lego set and half a keyboard, shared with my husband.
DS4 Wooden Castle or Scooter
DS3 Large Duplo or Playmobil set maybe.
DS1 Maybe a Wobbel board.

Big teens both have their new iPhone 7s so will get clothes (poncho!) and pjs and stocking each.

Dd 8 is probably getting an iPad and keyboard as she asked for a “gold laptop” and we can get a gold iPad and the brydge keyboard makes it like a laptop.

Joint present for her and ds4 is an inflatable gymnastics mat. We have a home gym so it will be enjoyed.

Ds4 will be 5 by then and is getting a second hand Xbox 360 for his bday so will get guitar hero and lego dimensions at Xmas. Plus some toys- probably Ben 10 figures.

My DD will be 5 and I'm getting her an iPod because she loves music and I can't cope with her CD player anymore with head phones I was going to get speakers to take to nannies house not revenge for that annoying loud fucking guitar she brought her oh no

DD1 aged 13 is getting a bass guitar and amp (yes I must be mad!)

DD2 aged 9....SO don't know! I am thinking of getting her something to play music on...according to my 19 year old niece, some people still buy CDs and they're easily found online. She has a tablet and does listen on youtube but I'd like to encourage her off the tablet and into having a music player that allows her to do other things...she will go on youtube and then open another tab and start doing something else online.

I don't HATE her being online...but certainly don't want her on it all the time!
