Shopkins - Where to buy.

My daughter loves Shopkins.

My sister has bought her a collection case and I was hoping to get her some Shopkins to fill the case.

Is there a way to get Shopkins for less?

There's an app called Wish which sells sets quite cheap. I think they're shipped from abroad, so they may take a few weeks to arrive. But DP has bought a few bits from there and swears by it.

Either that, or you might find some cheap bundles on eBay if you don't mind them without the packaging

Well yes, eBay usually has second-hand bundles. But opening them from their 'blind' packaging is half the fun. The other half of the fun is slowly making a collection, including swapping your duplicates with friends. Filling her case in one go kind of defeats the purpose in my view.

I've not heard about another way of getting a stack of them cheaply, unless you advertise to people whose kids might have outgrown their collecting (10+ year olds?).

Technically 12 packs and packs with play sets (shop shelves, etc) lower the price of each individual Shopkins I suppose.

I got loads off ebay last year, they weren't in any packaging but seemed genuine. We used them for an accent calendar

I just sold all my dds on fb.
The big sets from abroad on eBay are fakes. Depending how you feel about that, may not bother you

Sainsbury's have done reduced packs on their toy sale before .

JangleJangleJangle · 14/10/2017 10:18

I've brought her a brand new pack to open for her birthday.

For Christmas she has 50 fake ones from EBay (cost £7.99 for the lot) can't tell any difference. I'll scatter them in her stocking so packaging wouldn't be expected.

I've also ordered a pack from Wish. It's season 5, the picture shows that it comes in packaging - cost a couple of quid. Will report back if it arrives with packaging or not.

I've also brought her a shopkins Lego playset which might come with characters I can't remember. Feels better buying the Lego sets than just spending loads on the plastic tat playsets.

So we have a mixture of fake and real.

I've heard that B&M do the older sets at a more reasonable price.

Thank you.

I know what you are saying about slowly building the collection. She just looks so envious when her friends have tons! So I was thinking if she had 10/20 to get her going then she wouldn't feel quite so jealous.

Thank you everyone.
