Homemade breakfast advent calendar - what do you think?

Our children are late teens/ young adults but still insist on advent calendars/stockings etc Just seen that Kellogg's have launched a cereal advent calendar. Got me thinking - could spilt variety packs, cereal bar, bagged croissants, cereal bars, juice cartons etc, wrap, number and construct into some sort of shape (not sure what yet). Could add in the odd chocolate bar, bags of dried fruits /nuts.
What do you think? And if you think it's a good idea, what else would you add?

Sounds lovely. Hot choc, festive teabag too.

Yes hadn't thought about hot drink sachets, good idea thanks. Just need to work out how best to construct it

Maybe mini numbered Hessian bags on a small Xmas tree.
