This Christmas will be my baby's first Christmas, I want to do her a Christmas eve box, but have no idea what to put in it, so far I've got a first Christmas sleep suit. She will be 11 months old on the 27th December.

For DD9's first box I put in a Christmas sleepsuit, a Christmas Day bib, a special first Christmas bauble for the tree, a Christmas book, a plush Christmas snowman and a baby Lush bath bomb.

I think a Christmas sleep suit, Christmassy soft toy and a little book would be plenty and probably all stuff you'd get anyway for your baby's first Christmas. I think it's a lovely idea Smile I do little things for my DC (not babies anymore) on CE but only the last few years as I didn't even know about CE boxes until then! If I had before I would have.

Do some people really get new Xmas PJs every year on Xmas eve?do you just wear them for 1 night or until 6th Jan (or rest of year?). I just get a few Xmas clothes (incl pjs) for kids and give them 1st Dec with advent calendar. I get out the Xmas books when we do decorations x

We don't do the full box, but I think new PJs is a nice thing. Usually the DC need them anyway. I don't usually buy specific Christmas ones, last year mine were red tartan (wearing them now as a matter of fact!). The DC had hooded onsies last year and have worn them so much since, one of their favourite presents.

Our pjs aren't Xmas ones necessarily - they may have a wintery print, like fair-isle or something. So they can be worn at any time in the year. I just like everyone having new pjs on in the present opening pictures Smile
