What toys have been a waste of money

Inspired by the hatchimal thread, I wondered if we could have a list of toys that have been a waste of money...

Hatchimal
Glimmies in their houses (far better to buy the glimmies on their own than with the house)
Sylvanian family (various) buildings although the characters and vehicles are great... anyone have any more to add?

Furby
Animatronic Toys (any)
Mousetrap (though the newer style looks better)
Flubble (giant bubble ball)
JMS (is that the right brand?) “hover ball “ that doesn't frcking hover at all.
Fake playdoh. It smells odd and doesn’t mould the same way (mold???)

I know this is no the case for most, but I. This house, big Playmobil buildings tc have been a complete waste. The characters and accessories are fine, but the bigger piece just collapse and bits get lost.

Teksta dinosaur. Absolute shite. Ds was desperate for one, eventually I let him spend his Xmas money on one in the sales but even so was £45+ and he got bored within a week. I felt it was a useful lesson in how advertising isn’t reflected in reality!

Agree about the play mobile

Heelys
Nerf rebelle bow and arrow

And this will be a controversial one but the game Ticket to Ride. Family was not that impressed.

DD has the big playmobil castle and while some bits do get loose it is easy to put it back together. I rate if for younger children higher than Lego.

Last year's Starmaker microphone was a joke. We had 3 different iphones in the house and it worked only on one, mine, not willing to share it all the time. Hardly any free songs and I refused to let DD (9 then) open an account and "like" strangers.
