Marks and Spencer Turkey Crown

I am thinking of getting one ready stuffed this year as I am fed up of chucking out the leg meat as no one will eat it and faffing with stuffing, Mt DH is convinced that a crown will be dry but I am not convinced as the crown still has a bone in it. Share experiences please.

I always get a turkey crown that has bacon over the top (and is smothered in butter) and it has never been dry. The one from Aldi was lush last year.

We get a turkey crown as everyone prefers the breast meat. Ours was from Sainsbury's last year and it was lovely. Not dry at all.

I've had the marks one for the last ten years and its absolutely perfect. Not dry at all , lovely and buttery and moist

I get the cheapest m&s boneless turkey crown around £27, plait some pancetta over it and it comes out lovely every year. I do stuffing separately.

I have bought the other, more expensive, m&s offerings with/without bones, with/without stuffing, costing up to £70 and they are all tasty, but the £27 one is just as good.

We had a Waitrose turkey crown last year - so much easier to cook and it was delicious! Never going back to a whole turkey again

I think that must be the same one we get weall

Past few years we've not had turkey but a capon and it's been delicious

The turkey crown form M&S is always lovely.

I get a crown or a rolled stuff breast joint from my butcher and they've never been dry. Just don't overcook it!
