Knitting Christmas Stockings - Pattern Ideas Please

I'm an okay knitter, nothing amazing, would like to knit Christmas stockings for my children.

Does anyone have any nice but simple patterns?

Have you been on ravelry? Lots of free xmas stocking patterns. I have knitted everyone a mini stocking to be filled with choc Coins. :)
