Considering a digital photo frame for my Mum. (Will have to preload pics as not a cat in hells chance she'll work out how to do it herself)
Any good recommendations for specific frames please? Or any to avoid? Or any other hints n tips in choosing one?
Thanks

I think they are a bit dated since phones, tablets etc came in. Does she want one?

We were bought one when they were quite expensive- luckily the shop took it back or it would have been unused in the box.

I think it's a good gift idea - especially for non technical members of the family. You can get one with it's own email address apparently and configure it all from the web or by emailing the pictures. I might get one for DM.

She is in her 80s so won't seem dated to her. Means she can have photos we've taken of her and the grandchildren etc on loop, I think she'd enjoy it. We all live a long way from her so being able to email photos to it would be great, not sure she'd figure out how to upload new photos herself

We bought my MIL a nixplay.its brilliant all her family have the email address and we send out photos direct to the screen whenever we want. This way it is always being updated. She has it on random so it scrolls through all the photos.

It's very simple and I highly recommend it

If it's emailable, won't it need to be connected to the Internet? Does she have a wifi connection already?

Thanks ojoj that sounds perfect. Yes she does have wi-fi zebra but good point for anyone else looking. As long as we set it up for her !
