What skincare range would you buy for a 13 year old girl?

I was thinking Clinique? Are there any ranges you buy for your teenagers? She hasn't hit the spotty stage yet and has good skin in general. I'm just wondering whether there is a range aimed at teenagers?

Yes some fun bath bombs and bubble bars from Lush are great xmas gifts for teenagers!

She might just turn out to be one of those very lucky people who just splash their face with water every now and then and have naturally perfect skin forever. Lucky!

Bliss is the Elemis range aimed at teen skin IIRC.

I would leave her as she is.

I stopped using anything on mine bar a simple moisturiser and washing with water. My skin has never been better.

Nothing but a clean flannel and warm water, no need for anything else off she had good skin atm.

The Body Shop camomile cleansing balm - definitely! It's amazing. So gentle but effective!

Also their Aloe range is quite natural and good for younger skin.

She has really good skin. She's a bit too sporty I think to be bothered about a three step skin care regime. Might re-think that Christmas present.

Dermalogica, cheaper and much better than clarins.

They do have a teen range which is cheaper than the regular range.

Does she have a preference? Has she asked for skincare (in which case go ahead), or is she still oblivious? In which case don't get her anything until she asks.

If you change your mind, my nieces have loved Liz Earle washcloths and skincare since they were that age -18 and 20 now and still love it.

Just bought my daughter Burts Bees cleanser for sensitive skin and she loves it.

Peggysue14 · 30/09/2017 19:20

I bought my daughter some stuff from Elizabeth's Daughter and her skin looked lovely and dewy. I think that it was created specifically for teenagers and it's nice and gentle on skin.

Dermalogica 100% there is a teen range! I’m a beauty therapist and qualified in Clarins elemis and Dermalogica would 100% be my choice! They’re all about the products and not how amazingly smelling they are which isn’t good for skin products!

Branleuse · 30/09/2017 19:27

Body shop. I bet she would like the vitamin E cream.

Or Nivea, or Lush

SpiritedLondon · 30/09/2017 19:38

What about Liz Earle ? It's cleanse and polish is gentle and made of natural products ( cruelty free too). They used to do a Young skins "try me kit " with a number of smaller sized products to have a go and they do fact sheets for young skins too. Other than that their body washes smell delicious and would be a great stocking filler. ( I personally found Clinique a bit harsh when I used it in my 20s).
