I've started looking around but there is so much choice!
Looking for a wooden kitchen, I've seen a few kid craft and Melissa and Doug but not sure how good they are

FreedomMummy · 29/09/2017 12:07

IKEA one is great. Have a look at this [http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/10-ways-to-remodel-ikeas-duktig-play-kitchen-216478 link] on how people have made it their own.

redexpat · 29/09/2017 12:07

Ikea! Been going 4 years now.

FreedomMummy · 29/09/2017 12:08

Sorry clicky link did not work and I can't remember how to do it...

ToddlersAndCoffee · 29/09/2017 12:20

Mustang27 · 29/09/2017 12:44

Ok that ikea kitchen link has just made me realise how crap I am at adulting Shock

MissRainbowBrite · 29/09/2017 12:51

KidKraft one here, it was £80 from Costco. It was incredibly heavy and very sturdy.
Word of warning though, don't wait till Christmas Eve to build it 🙈

Eminybob · 29/09/2017 13:21

We got the Aldi one for ds a couple of Christmases ago and it's still going strong. They usually sell it during the baby/kids event in the run up to Christmas.
It's great value too, £30 or something iirc.

mrsreddington · 29/09/2017 13:52

We got the KidKraft one 2 years ago. It's very sturdy, has been battered daily by 2 children and still looks great. I second not waiting until Christmas Eve to build it though. We did and it took DH nearly 4 hours to do Grin

GinYummy · 29/09/2017 14:12

another vote for IKEA!

TheNoseyProject · 29/09/2017 14:16

We have this one. Two kids and four years and it still looks great and I'd totally intact

The Asda wooden one, we got it on offer last year. DS loves it

Marmite27 · 29/09/2017 15:25

We got the Asda £40 wooden one last Christmas. Still going strong. I think they've changed the colour scheme this year though, ours is red.

SavoyCabbage · 29/09/2017 15:29

I think the IKEA one is lower that the Kidcraft one.

We've had the kidcraft one for ten years and it's been changed into a vets now. And it's been shipped to Australia and back again. I picked it as it has plenty of storage for all the stuff.

AdamantEve · 29/09/2017 16:28

I would definitely recommend IKEA too

StorminaBcup · 29/09/2017 16:31

IKEA - it's survived a heavy 3 year old clambering all over it and it still looks new. I think the accessories are good too and it's great value.

LittleCandle · 29/09/2017 16:37

DGD loves the Ikea one. She also has the pans and the tea set from there as well. She has great fun with it and as everyone has said, it is sturdy and takes a lot of hard handling very gracefully.

Bumbumtaloo · 29/09/2017 19:29

We got this kitchen for our dd’s Birthday. She loves it and is played with loads.

We have the Wonderworld Neo and it is amazing, I love that it comes in separate pieces so you can change the layout. I obsessively bargain hunted to get it at a decent price and it was well worth it. It is also very easy to assemble.

DontBuyANewMumCashmere · 30/09/2017 09:17

Also love the Ikea one. Lovely, no pink nonsense, good quality, 3 different height options, with loads of space for all the pans, food, tea sets, and shit you will accumulate!

I've just looked at that ikea link too and realised I am a very boring and unimaginative person!!

angelsgirls · 30/09/2017 09:22

We have the Aldi one, £40 and it's great dd loves it

Callmecordelia · 30/09/2017 09:25

If I had my time again I'd get the Ikea one.

Doje · 30/09/2017 10:18

Hmm, link fail. It's the Chad Valley one in Argos, £45. Have a Google!

HeyDuggee24 · 30/09/2017 10:27

Another vote for the ikea one.

And an opportunity to show off my "hacked" one. (Im super proud, I'm not very artsy and rarely finish a project)
