Kitchen toy for 2 year old

Hi all. I'd like to buy my DD a wooden kitchen toy for Christmas. Don't want to buy one she will grow out of, so would prefer to spend what we need to to ensure it last a good few years. Ideally would like one that has a washing machine as well as oven.

Know the ikea one has good reviews, but what else is there? I love the Little Tykes Deluxe kitchen but it is £169. Any suggestions? Or has anyone seen the Little Tykes one any cheaper?

We have a brilliant wooden one from Aldi, we got it about November last year for about £35 and it looks brand new despite being played with pretty much every day. They did them the year before too so presumably will do again this year.

The Ikea one seems really good as my two always spend ages playing with it in the store.

I think it's worth getting a wooden/decent one as we had a cheap plastic one for DS1 when he was 2 and he wasn't interested in it at all but loves the new one.

We have the Melissa and Doug one and it's brilliant. The kids love it and play with it almost-daily.

I got it during Black Friday a few years' ago for about £40, I think.

I bought the ikea one for ds when he was nearly 2 and it's the only toy he plays with day in day out. He's just started school and was making us lunch from it today. Little Sis plays with it too now.

I have the GLTC one. It's gorgeous. My only criticism is the little knobs/ hooks on it kept coming off

The Little Tikes wooden one is lovely! Has a washing machine. Also, ASDA do one that also has a Chalk Board on it :) x

DS has the Wonderworkd Neo, it was more than I originally wanted to spend but after some serious bargain hunting I managed to buy most of the pieces with a discount. The quality is incredible and I like the individual pieces which allow us to rearrange the kitchen in different ways. It was also very easy to assemble.

We have one from Amazon almost identical to the Little Tikes one as it has a washing machine for that exact purpose, DC loves our real washing machine Grin

We have the GLTC one, too. Had it 8 years so far (9 this Christmas) and not only is it still looking pretty much like new, it is still played with daily.

Costco usually have one. Ours was about £90 but it's lovely and has lasted 6 years and 2 kids so far.
