What are you getting your teens for Christmas?

Dd1 will be 16 she is getting
A babyliss hair curling tong
Perfume (Gucci is the one she has asked for)
New pjs, slippers and dressing gown
Stocking bits-chocolate, sweets, lip balm, some make up, earrings, face mask, etc

I've just no idea this year. Stocking so far will have slightly more premium versions of toiletries - shower gel, make-up wipes, moisturiser and so on, day to day she will use Boots own or Simple.

Probably a couple of gift sets from Boots - maybe a Ted Baker one and a Jack Wills as she loves a gift set and they are nice and bulky in the little pile.
I was thinking a reece's hamper but it might be more economical to put that together myself rather than buy one ready made.

always new pyjamas, that's a tradition but I'm a bit stuck from there.

Everything she likes seems to have gone up a notch or two in price as she's become label conscious and also these days I can't pick up the CD's and films I used to as everything is streamed.

Possibly a Starbucks gift card as she likes to go with her friends and at 13 it's still a novelty to her.

Other than that I am stumped so I'll be glad to read others ideas.

My girls are soon to be 16 and soon to be 13. Dd1 wants a laptop and dd2 wants a tablet, though I'm thinking of getting a chromebook instead of a tablet so she can use it as a tablet or laptop.

I've got them a sprocket to share (don't see the point in getting them one each) and I've got them a pack of sprocket paper each to go in their stockings.

This year I've also bought them nice purses. They are leather and cardsafe.

Their stockings will mainly be make up bits and then a few personal bits each. So far dd1 has charcoal face mask, harry potter snitch fidget spinner, notebook, ravenclaw drinks coaster, sprocket paper. Dd2 has magnetic bookmark, notepad and sprocket paper. They always have a tube of sweets and choccie coins. All stockings have to have choccie coins. It's the law.

They always have pj's on christmas eve.

I'll get them bits and pieces such as jeans, maybe a top or two, perfume.....they usually start coming up with ideas once I've finished shopping for them in December! 🎗

Macbook. And a bag. Probably Kate Spade.

Dd14 will be getting a desktop computer as her laptop is on its last legs and she is becoming more interested in gaming. Then she will have a well stuffed stocking. Her adult siblings usually buy her switch or ds games as well as books and stationery and Lush stuff.

15 y/o dd here and I have absolutely no idea at all. What she would like I'm sure is a new macbook, but way out of price range (tbf she hasn't and wouldn't ask). I might see if there's an event she'd enjoy coming up that I can get her tickets for.

Stocking is easy though - nice shower gel, pens, some geeky themed bits & pieces, chocolate.

Am wondering if she'd like a nicer bag for school that could then see her into college next year. Any top tips on funky rucksack style bags?

ds wants a macbook or money towards one...not going to be a whole lot of fun.

DD14 has only shown an interest in a dressing gown so far.

I normally get her to send me screenshots from Sept onwards of stuff she likes / wants makes it alot easier.

The older they get the more expensive they get & the xmas pile seems so little.

Stocking is easy pjs, smellies, socks etc

I'm struggling for stocking gifts this year...
He doesnt eat Chocolate or sweets or drink pop, isn't remotely interested in "trendy" stuff....

18 and 13 year old girls here.

Both getting new iPhones.
18 year old will also get makeup, (eyeing up the naked heat palette for her), perfume, some clothes. Probably some gift vouchers and itison vouchers as she's away at uni now.

13 year old wants a hatchimal. Will also get a Lego set and some craft things as she's creative and some clothes. She's not into makeup yet.

Both get pjs bath sets dressing gowns and slippers ever year.

And I love doing stockings. I've got a lot of stocking stuff in already.

dementedma A sprocket is a little tiny HP printer to use with phones. Sprocket paper are printer refills.

Mine are 15, 13 and 11. We've agreed that instead of big presents this year we're having a family break at Center Parcs just after New Year's Day. So they'll just have stockings on Christmas Day.

No idea for any of the lovelies in my life. Genuinely am stuck. Have asked them to do Amazon wish lists but I think I might regret that!

Oh god. I know everyone has a different budget but seeing how many teenagers get bought iPhones, laptops, etc really stresses me out. We just can't afford this stuff (for ourselves or the kids) and yet it's basically all they want and see their peers getting. Boys too, so we don't get the posh perfume/nice clothes option as they're just not fussed. There doesn't seem to be much at a lower price level, especially, as a PP mentioned, that DVDs and CDs are often a bit pointless now.

My older son is into football so will get loads of stuff from his club's shop - key ring, water bottle, mug, stationery, retro jersey. I also get him the MOTD and Shoot! annuals - he hasn't seemed to have outgrown them yet. The Guinness Book of Records is a tradition. He plays golf so I'll buy him some novelty golf balls (the emoji ones perhaps) and tees. He needs a dressing gown. He's very easy to buy for.

The younger one is more difficult. He plays football and rugby but doesn't follow them. He's not into art, reading, or gaming other than a small handful of Xbox games.

Toiletries, chocolates, tee shirts, socks always a good fall back.
