Single parent on one income so not loads of money. One has SN.

One has said their only wish is for a kitten but we have a non cat friendly dog and I don't do pet presents for Christmas anyway.

Not really into gaming, we have an Xbox 360 that is never touched.

One has a laptop through school so don't need a laptop.

One had an iPhone which was broken on holiday but has replaced with a cheap android and is happy with it.

Neither read much

They aren't that in to fashion.

One likes patches to sew on stuff so that's a stocking filler.

They both like music.

Help!

Boys or girls?

Spotify subscription
Netflix subscription
Amazon dot
Make up/nail varnish
Trainers
Voucher to have nails done
Young drivers lesson
Concert/theatre tickets
Framed posters of fave music artists
Sprocket (I got my girls one to share as don't see the point in them having one each)
American sweet hamper
Giant gummy bear
Water speakers
Bluetooth shower speaker (got one in b&m last year for about £8, dd1 loves it and dd2 wants one this year!)
Perfume/aftershave
That's all I can think of! 🎗

A couple of ukuleles?

Leeds2 · 13/09/2017 16:45

New bedding, pjs, dressing gown, slippers, cushions for the bed type thing.
Popcorn maker.
Sewing machine.
Hair straighteners.

Daisiesbox · 13/09/2017 16:58

Thank you, fab ideas here!

Both boy and girl.

I've asked and one who has SN wants nothing but a kitten which isn't happening and the other doesn't know.

'MollyHuaCha

A couple of ukuleles?'

They might like that, not sure my ears would Grin

I've done concert tickets before but there's no one really on DC1 likes and dc2 is now scared of going back as the last gig we were at was Manchester Arena in May. :(
They like the theatre so that's a good one and dc2 might cope with that.

Clothes wise they have loads of basic Primark stuff with a couple of named hoodies and trainers that fit. They aren't really fussed about clothes.

Still got perfume my Mum bought last year.

What is a sprocket please?

Sewing machine for the one who likes sewing.
Mini fridge for their room. That's what my dc15 wants.
Costa voucher
Do they like Lego? Mine like the Lego architecture range.
How about doing them a photobook of their last holiday or the best of 2017

Ukeleles have always been popular in our house. They are good value too - around £30 for a Mahalo which is one of the best brands from a quality uke. I think they're even cheaper on amazon at the minute.

If they're into music, what about a vintage record player?

Or snazzy headphones?

A trip to the theatre or a gig sounds good too - many often have 'relaxed' performances which may suit your needs if you're worried about how DC2 might cope.

Good luck xx

A sprocket is a little tiny printer to use with your phone to print photos from social media/phone memory.

Daisiesbox · 13/09/2017 20:35

Muddling they would love that!

Have you seen the Amazon dot if they both like music. Maybe it could be a joint present and it does so much more than just being a speaker!

crispiecrunchie · 17/09/2017 08:55

I've never seen a sprocket before, wonder if dp would like one.
