Anyone seen any nice present ideas for dd(5) who lives space?? She wants a astronaut costume and bunny with matching costume! I thought rocket play tent to go with it and astronaut food in her stocking. Any item ideas?? She already has lego space set, books and space hama beads

Thanks

Ahh houseofgiants I'd not thought about that!! Good idea. She very much enjoyed choosing and making a teddy last year. Would it possibly be a bit of a disappointment on Christmas day to not have it though??

I was in m&s today and they were selling a projector torch with space/solar lenses. Was £6, might make a nice stocking filler.

I love the Melissa and Doug astronaut suit.

Make her a cd and include Space Oddity and Rocket Man and lIfe on Mars and other space themed songs (4yo ds loves those). Og and that Spaceman song (Babylon Zoo?)

Also my kids are very keen on this picnic blanket I got which they use for playing made up space games.

Also if you are anywhere near London the Greenwich Planetarium (up the hill next to the observatory) is free and has a great shop.

I was going to suggest a festive trip to London to see Tim Peakes space craft but I see its moving to Bradford at the end of this month. www.scienceandmediamuseum.org.uk/whats-on/soyuz-tma-19m-tim-peakes-spacecraft

How about a festive trip to Bradford ? Grin

The Convertible Spaceship book was good for us - we picked it up in TK Maxx but that was years back. It's a book that also folds out to be a "rocket" you can sit in.

Wow fab ideas. Thank you. Don't think there has been one so far that she wouldn't love. That picnic blanket is just awesome!! I don't think Bradford is all that far away from us, we are up north, so that sounds like a fab trip. She loves Tim!!

Just seen this on Matalan's website - Astronaut egg cup with a cutter to make rocket soldiers www.matalan.co.uk/product/detail/s2666391_c000/space-themed-breakfast-set-24cm-x-15cm-x-6cm-blue

Take her to see an IMAX 3D film about space.
