Ohholy dd was seven in June and has been reading the HH histories books for about a year she loves them! They are written in a funny way. Ds is 4 and he likes he watch the tv programme we went to see it live a few weeks ago. Dd has also read the first four Harry Potter books and wasn't scared. I think books are different because you use your own imagination, the films scared her a bit.

Oh you superstar @chocolatepudandchocolatesauce ⭐️ thank you so so much for doing that! They are as great as I remember so will definitely be heading back for them. Though I think I'll wait for the inevitable Debenhams 25% off and then buy two As my eldest spotted them, I'm thinking of taking them out of the packaging and putting them into a cellophane bag so he doesn't recognise the packaging and it fits in his stocking

SnowBodyforrrrm · 06/09/2017 20:27

They're not on the website @tiggersdontlikehoney. I spent ages looking last night after seeing them instore but nadah, nothing online 😢

SparklingXmas · 06/09/2017 20:36

Thank you to the posters who mentioned the hobbycraft trees and snow globes! 😘🎄💐

Freezingwinter · 06/09/2017 20:41

Did you get one sparkling? I am very pleased with my felt tree!

SnowBodyforrrrm · 06/09/2017 20:43

So I've ignored the hype from the last few years for the top toy, but have just seen a fb ad for one of this years contenders, and despite its creepy face, I'm getting the urge to buy it.

Ladies and gentlemen...I bring you Luvabella. She is available from 1st October. If she is 2017's mini nes or hatchimal, what do i do? Do I start camping outside argos a few days before she's released? Or can I preorder? I can't find any info anywhere 😭

Ewww snow that's going to give me nightmares

Freezingwinter · 06/09/2017 20:45

Smyths have the info that she is available from 1st October. I'd phone the store and ask if there's a list, can you pre order?

silver1977 · 06/09/2017 20:46

Sorry but that doll looks so scary! My DD makes me hide her dolls at bedtime because they scare her if she wakes in the night, I think that one would terrify her! It looks like the doll itself has seen a ghost!

NoWordForFluffy · 06/09/2017 20:48

£100 for a doll that looks like it's going to kill you in your sleep?! Xmas Shock

Cupoteap · 06/09/2017 21:00
Shock
FoofFighter · 06/09/2017 21:00

B&M had some giant sweets in last xmas - I bought the wine gums for my fella and they were reportedly very nice :) Hopefully they'll have them again this year.

That doll though... Shock

It looks like it'd roam the house after lights out and sneak up on you Confused

GinYummy · 06/09/2017 21:04

thank you for the new thread! Just been doing the food order and noticed that Ocado have their christmas shop up!

Stuckinarut44 · 06/09/2017 21:05

Does the creepy doll come with an exorcism?

NoWordForFluffy · 06/09/2017 21:11

Do they, Gin?

SparklingXmas · 06/09/2017 21:21

freezingwinter I bought 3 trees for 3 dd's and a snow globe for me😊

Highmaintenancefemalestuff · 06/09/2017 21:22

My son has been after these for ages. Always thought they were ridiculously expensive for what they are but couldn't argue with this.

woodwaj · 06/09/2017 21:24

Holy crap what is that doll???

tiggersdontlikehoney · 06/09/2017 21:35

Ah thanks snow

Yikes she is.. special Confused

Haudyerwheesht · 06/09/2017 21:40

Yes the doll is terrifying - I bet dd will want one ...

KavvLar · 06/09/2017 21:45

tor I'm pretty sure Sainsburys do their toy sale mid October and then the double up mid November.

hambo · 06/09/2017 21:49

Just bought the cheap bananagram from the entertainer so thank you !!

Gooseysgirl · 06/09/2017 21:55

Jesus holy Christ there is no WAY that doll is coming anywhere near our house Shock

LookMaAStone · 06/09/2017 21:58

Quick tip for anyone looking at stuff from The entertainer. Check Tesco direct before you order. They sell through them, but it's cheaper postage and you get club card points. I just got some kinetic sand bits and actually remembered to check Tesco before I ordered! They don't have everything though as I just checked for the banagrams game. Such a good price!
