shestood haven't checked today but it used to be that if you paid £5 for click and collect at sports direct, that you would then be given a £5 voucher to spend in store...

I've used it to buy things like sports socks or balls etc that always get used so I don't feel like I'm missing out on my £5!

@Toriah I use The Gift List app as you can put in birthdays and christmas. I actually put everything in Christmas and use first name and surname creatively so my list looks like this:

We have amazon dots and are really happy with them much cheaper than echoes. We have hooked one of our dots up to the stereo but to be honest it is fine using the little speaker within the dot.

PS an amazon dot is a good present for someone with a visual impairment, it can tell the time, set alarms, weather, play radio stations, even tells jokes Grin

Thank you to whoever mentioned Boswells! I ordered a bunch of stuff for excellent prices that came really well packaged and I contacted them today as I want to return something I didn't read the description (I told them it was a lovely item and as much as I want to keep it for myself should return it!) and they refunded me and told me to keep the item with their compliments.

Will definitely use again!

Thanks all-I have had a cyst & ovary out by keyhole I think (waiting for consultant to come & confirm that's what they actually did but I feel dandy at the mo).

Love love love the amazon dots-I'm super lazy & used to have our lamps on a timer but dh would mutter & curse when they shut off at 11pm. Echo dot & lamps on extension to a smart plug & now we just say 'Alexa, lamp on' or off & it's great. Lots of other good things too but this is my fave-I got a 2nd for the bedroom as when I Flo sleep in my book I'm awake again by the time I turn over & switch the lamp off.

Highly rec for anyone-so many skills & things it can do for fun

Forgot to say I bought a huge box of fox's biscuit in tescos yest for £3, so our Christmas box is well under way ..... also the works have some nice Christmas crafts..

it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
