Hi all
I am SO EXCITED to be hosting our first Christmas at our house. Myself, DH and our little boy who will be 21months. Both sets of parents will be with us and potentially sister and partner too tbc on the day.
I'd like to cook a turkey crown, it's what I'd prefer and honestly just seems easier however MIL announced this week when I was talking about my general excitement and plans 'to be honest darling I do really prefer leg'
Fair enough! But I don't really want to roast a whole turkey - is there a compromise? Can you buy legs and roast them along with the crown??

You can buy turkey legs, never cooked them but would imagine they take less time than the crown

We get ours as a crown with separate legs from a farm shop. No issue to have it jointed.

Perfect! I'll have it jointed and then all will be well with the world! 😀😀 thanks

Our local turkey farm sells big bags of legs and wings cheaply at Xmas as so many people just want a crown.
