Best christmas markets

Looking to visit a good christmas market - any recommendations UK or Europe please :)

I've just booked for Berlin after someone recommended various markets there. I'm so excited!

Munster in Germany is really nice.

Essen in Germany is lovely

We're heading to Berlin this year but for the last few years we have gone to Birmingham and the Christmas market there is huge!

Winchester is lovely, in the grounds of thr csthedral with an ice rink in the middle but gets rammed with people, best to go early or late and you need to book the skating in advance.

Edinburgh is lovely

Any major German city. Pick one you can easily get to. Aachen, Nürnberg, München, Bremen, Hamburg Frankfurt are the ones I've been to and they're all great, and the actual market bits are all quite samey, so pick a city you're interested in.

Nurnberg Christmas market is lovely, the city is beautiful at any time of year but even more so at Christmas
