storm I'm also after fingerlings and little live pets things. Dd has the mouse in the house set, so I've got her the play run attachment to go with it for Christmas. Also managed to get turtles for £6 each from Sainsbury's last week.

Hi. Just wanted to say thanks so much for this thread. I have just read the whole of this thread through and as a result I have discovered AliExpress! I have ordered loads of bits for my DD's Design a Friend doll that she loves. Thanks so much to whoever posted those links! Her friend managed to break the doll's sunglasses a few months ago and DD was so upset about it. Haven't been able to find them anywhere, but just ordered some similar ones from Ali Express for 84p!! Will be back on there later for stationary bits - I think I will be placing lots of orders! How long does their stuff take to arrive?

I will also be ordering board games from the Entertainer sale later - I have been looking for a cheap Monopoly set and they have it for less than £10!

curly shipping times from aliexpress really vary I've found - anywhere from a super speedy 10 days once to 6 weeks-ish

Thanks for all the tips, particularly the Japanese things as my teen dd is obsessed with all things Japanese. I'm on the look out for any thunderbird toys this year, particularly Tracey Island if anyone knows of any bargains! I can't justify £84!

Bargain hunting help needed: mermaid blankets (one adult, one child) and large light up letters (like the pic but bigger if possible!)

Primark have adult mermaid blankets, not sure about kids. I think i might have seen the letters in matalan or one of the other links in this thread

Game seek.co.uk have the Tracey island for £61 its gOne out of stock but there's an option to set up stock alert and may come back in..

Homebargains also had thunderbird stuff in my local as mentioned above
