DD is 12 just looking for ideas. We have always done a big present, but I can't really think of anything for this year.

Stocking stuff will be make up, lush, body shop bits.

Clothes I find quite difficult these days, she's not really into labels, but I find it hard to know what she'll like.

iPod? Laptop or games console?

minilifecrisis · 24/08/2017 16:47

No interest in games consoles what so ever.

She currently uses her phone for music, is there much more you can do on an iPod than a phone? We've never had any iPods.

Bluetooth speaker for her phone. Mine is into labels but also much more into fluffy slippers, dressing gowns, pjs than previously too.

DD is 12 on Christmas day! This year she is mostly after clothes and leotards (big into gymnastics!!). Shes after a Jack Wills hoodie. Also Victoria Secret Pink is a big favourite so I'm waiting on their sale ! A Bluetooth speaker for her phone might be a hit.

Tablet or iPad
Mobile phone
Sprocket
Smart TV
Superdry/Hollister hoodie
Trainers
Lush gift set
Something from Pandora
Young drivers driving lesson

These are the more pricier things my girls would like/have had.

Smaller things could be jeans, clothes, pj's, bed pocket, nando's/Starbucks vouchers, pop vinyl, book of fave you tuber....

UnicornMadeOfPinkGlitter · 24/08/2017 20:13

My 11yrold would like gift vouchers for favourite shops or something like a Westfield voucher so she can go shopping after.

This is the first year without Father Christmas and she said she wished she had told us she didn't believe earlier so she could ask for vouchers before. Shock

Otherwise it would really be the usual clothing and accessories although this is the girl who can spend £100 in primark.

My friends daughter is dropping hints about having a new bedroom so new bedding frames pictures cushions throws and room accessories.

Laptop or computer for high school? DD got hers in year 6.
Smart tv - DD loves hers
Hair straighteners/curlers?
Bike,
Victoria secret pink bags/clothes etc
Activity vouchers eg learn to ski course?

Buttercupsandaisies · 24/08/2017 20:54

Best thing DD got last year was a Starbucks voucher she could use when in town with her mates!

minilifecrisis · 28/08/2017 12:15

Loads of great ideas! Am making a list to start some online shopping tonight!

Have never actually heard of Victoria secret punk but two of you have mentioned it. Is there likely to be a sale before Christmas?

I'm not sure - there wasn't one last year - it's pretty expensive but I only buy a couple of bits. They come in nice bags with tissue paper so look posh! I got DD a water bottle and gym bag

Showandtell · 28/08/2017 18:18

Mine wants vouchers. She likes hollister clothing and trendy sweatshirts. She also wants a pair of 150 football boots Hmm

I've ordered my daughter an Amazon Echo - it's a speaker plus it does lots of other things too.
Last year I bought her a diary and I added lots of tickets / vouchers for experiences so theatre tickets, milkshake voucher, Costa voucher etc.
