Zoob 60 piece sparkle construction set Says £14.99 when you click on the link, but is sold by Amazon (prime eligible) at £5.67 if you click on other sellers.

I'm after a 3 in 1 micro scooter if anyone sees any codes/offers!

Tattybogle89 · 24/08/2017 10:24

Mega jump pet palace £7.99 at argos usually around a £20

Jedbartletforpresident · 24/08/2017 11:20

I've not been on the threads much recently (have missed this whole one actually) so must do better!!!!

This year my hardest ones are

  • 19 year old girl (still very much a girl - very young for her age)
  • 15 year old boy
  • 8 year old boy

Budget around £40 for first two and £15 for last one (it's actually a birthday present for December - not Christmas!)

Any ideas? My dc are different ages and I feel very out of touch with these ones

winewolfhowls · 24/08/2017 11:25

Hello all, if it's any use to anyone, spent ages trying to research a more affordable scooter than the micro but still good. Globber have excellent reviews and I found decathlon to be cheapest with free delivery over thirty pounds. Adjustable handle, flashing lights for under fifty pounds.

margaritasbythesea · 24/08/2017 11:27

Any idea what they are in to Jed I think teenagers often like itunes vouchers.

My 7yo boy is into Lego and Pokemon. There's a really cool LEgo Explorer's helicopter currently about a fiver off in Argos here or this is a really nice set.

mcdog · 24/08/2017 11:29

Still after ideas for adults if anyone comes across anything :)

Jedbartletforpresident · 24/08/2017 11:36

15 year old isn't into sports but goes fishing and scouts. Don't know much else - we live in a different country so only see them about once a year.

19 year old not into much to be honest - not into make up or typical 19yr old girl things in that respect. Not into reading. Enjoys movies enough and listens to music but not really sure what. Socialises with a small group of friends but mainly hanging out at each other's houses. Again - only see them about once a year so don't actually know them that well

gingerbreadmam · 24/08/2017 11:39

jed

for the girl argos have some great metal vanity cases which are well within budget

19 yo im guessing aftershave, lynx stuff, cinema voucher, sweets, branded hoody.

gingerbreadmam · 24/08/2017 11:40

should have said 15 yo.

Annwithnoe · 24/08/2017 11:41

bicycle I got one from Aldi last year and it has been brilliant once I figured out I could dull the noise by taping a bit of paper onto the speaker it's been used a lot and is still going strong
I think it came out in late November with their Christmassy stuff.

Annwithnoe · 24/08/2017 11:52

and it was £20 Smile

WaitingForEgg · 24/08/2017 12:01

I just ordered a Micro Scooter Mini 2 GO Deluxe Plus in Mint which is usually £125. Usually the JoJo discount codes don't work on Micro Scooter. But I tested out a code I noticed and it worked. So I got the Scooter for £106 delivered. Code is PAMP71 on the JoJo website

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 24/08/2017 12:33

Decent price atm on the vtech baby laptop on amazon. I'd set up a price alert. Not the lowest it's ever been, but a decent one.

Thanks!
Ordered Zoobs, OOS just now at that price but it let me order anyway, I assume it'd stay at that price?

PamelaEwing · 24/08/2017 13:53

Just seen these inflatable chairs on offer at Argos for £1.99! Novelty gift for someone? Choose from
football, basketball or baseball

Tiggles · 24/08/2017 14:01

First bargain off the bargain threads thanks to wornoutboots those radio advent calendars are brilliant, boys just about grown out of the lego ones. Think even DH will be trying to get in on this one! Grin

Tiggles · 24/08/2017 14:05

And a bargain to be had if you want a big present that can be taken down to store...
Hobbycraft colour your own fabric play house reduced from £35 to £25 here, they do a teepee too but that is still £35 and if you haven't ordered before looks like you can get a further 15% off if you join the club. Looked quite robust in the shop.

leesmum · 24/08/2017 14:08

Jed you'd be safe with a gift card for GAME for the 15yr old lad 🎮🕹
And a lot of 8yr olds are into Minecraft

tiggersdontlikehoney · 24/08/2017 14:29

Thanks Pamela think that's going to be a stocking filler...

nickdrakeslovechild · 24/08/2017 14:32

B&M have the jojo bow makers in for £9.99 My DD will hate the ugly things love it

SheStoodInTheStorm · 24/08/2017 15:00

Jed what about a cinema voucher for the girl? Or would you prefer something 'real'?

AriNi31 · 24/08/2017 15:53

My son is after a FitBit this year - his mates have them - but he's only 10. Having said that, I don't want to get him one that'll fall apart etc... do you reckon its worth paying out for a fitbit or should I look at the cheaper alternatives?
