Whoops - we seem to have filled the first thread!

Let's carry on here until we can sort a proper one.

It allows the poster to earn commission from people clicking through on the links and purchasing an item.

DisorderedAllsorts · 22/08/2017 23:16

Thanks. I didn't know anything about this, I must lead a very sheltered life!

Minster2012 · 22/08/2017 23:18

Hi, does anyone know what the sizing is like for Asda for that AC/DC TSB jet, never bought any men's clothes there before and OH is slim 6'5" so large in some places too short but XL too wide?

Minster2012 · 22/08/2017 23:19

T shirt not TSB jet!! Grin

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 22/08/2017 23:24

tattyBogle89 you need to make it clear when your posting affiliate links (which you are as several have the affiliate link is the URL)

ridingsixwhitehorses · 22/08/2017 23:42

£30 off this Imaginext transforming bat cave at Argos - it is exactly what my ds wants so have ordered it now as don't think it will be cheaper anywhere else.

Anyone know when the make up revolution advent will come out?

FireflyGirl · 23/08/2017 07:07

Affiliate links
I think tatty is posting links directly from hukd or from the Facebook page 'bargain buys for busy mums' - she and I find a lot of the same bargains!

Both of those sites use affiliate schemes. I use short links, so I clean them up, but tatty posts the full link. She probably doesn't realise that they are affiliate links.

I'm sure she'll be along to clarify.

I'm after a supermarket till for dd who will be nearly 5 at Christmas. Does anyone know of a good one please?

Minster2012 · 23/08/2017 07:27

There's a supermarket till at John Lewis for £12 @kraggle

margaritasbythesea · 23/08/2017 07:31

Isadora - the code popped up when I signed up. I think the code was NEW10.

Annwithnoe · 23/08/2017 07:32

@tattyboggle89 would you be able to post the pandora link again? I've searched but I can't find it. I wish there was a way of searching within the thread.

PamelaEwing · 23/08/2017 07:33

Re: affiliate links and tattybogle89

She is also taking a lot of her posts/ links from the bargainous Playpennies website as I also get sent their e-newsletter earlier in the day and she and I find a lot of the same bargains!

Regressionconfession · 23/08/2017 07:37

I want to make a charm bracelet for my DD. She's four. I'd prefer to get traditional clip on charms rather than pandora/chamilia. Any ideas on where to start?? Thanks!

velocitygir1 · 23/08/2017 07:51

I'm hoping in and watching with interest. Won't start buying until after 10th Sep as that's my sons bday.

Must keep reminding myself that lol.

velocitygir1 · 23/08/2017 07:52

joining in why does autocorrect make me look illiterate?!

Knope2020 · 23/08/2017 07:55

The asda t shirts looked quite big to me....my ds1 is only 5.9 and med build and he would take a S
I may go back on Friday and get him one! :)

Gooseysgirl · 23/08/2017 08:06

Regarding links... firstly, they are greatly appreciatedFlowersSmileSecondly, can I make a suggestion? For anyone posting multiple links could they put them all in the same post rather than lots of posts? This is just to help slow down the thread so that her maj of the bargains Reastie is not having to start new threads as frequently.

Bellini81 · 23/08/2017 08:10

I've been lurking and just wanted to add I received the money saving expert email today and it mentioned Debenhams are doing some of the Benefit make up kits (3 really good eyebrow sets) are on sale so ideal for any teens who are into their brows.

Plus a code for 15% off a shoe website if anyone is buying new converse etc for their loved ones.

I have been keeping my eyes peeled while out and about too and I'm so excited for Christmas Blush

Isadora2007 · 23/08/2017 08:18

Thank you Margarita I will give it a go

Minster2012 · 23/08/2017 08:50

Does anyone know when Black Friday is? I've never really paid attention before!

PamelaEwing · 23/08/2017 08:55

I think Black Friday this year is Friday 24th November. It's always the day after Thanksgiving.

imsorryiasked · 23/08/2017 08:59

Also Revell this year have a Star Wars one which is not bargainous but looks like good fun if you can find it in stock anywhere. However Maplins have the previous editions - rc truck and quadrocopter here

The Haynes build your own radio "calendar" currently £6.83 on amazon

imsorryiasked · 23/08/2017 09:00

Haynes radio

Llamacorn · 23/08/2017 09:04

Yup Friday the 24th for Black Friday this year, they'll usually have deals in the run up and a few days after too.

I was looking at this art set for my dds, they've got it in pink too and it looks a good deal, more grown up that the kids sets and reviews are fab too.

Thanks for the dot com link, I always forget about them for some reason.

Debenhams are having another spectacular event, up to 25% off most departments and up to 10% beauty and fragrance. Haven't had a chance to look myself yet but worth a browse.
